Bucket Escorts for Deep South

To all of our colleagues in the Beaumont and Lake Charles areas effected by Hurricane Laura, we have you in our thoughts and prayers. Please reach out if there is anything we can help you with, and we will make all efforts to accommodate you.

A few weeks ago, Deep South contacted us to escort (4) control buildings for them from Houston to Texas City. VersaBucket, LLC sent over (3) bucket trucks with crews to escort (2) buildings on Monday and the remaining (2) on Wednesday. The buildings were all between 17’11” and 19’3” tall.

Last week, we received a call from Security Specialized Transportation to escort this 18’6” Cooler from Mounds, OK to Houston, TX. We sent over 1 truck and crew to safely lead the Cooler through city streets and highways to its destination.

Overall, the transport went smoothly and took about 5 days to complete.

Escort for Deep South Tower Transport

Did you know that 1 out of every 7 jobs in the US is transportation related?

In March, Deep South Crane & Rigging gave us a call to help them get a 24’8” tall DA 201 Combination Tower transported from Beaumont to Port Arthur, TX overnight.

VersaBucket provided 4 trucks with crews to clear the way for this Tower. This oversized load was safely and expertly maneuvered through streets and highways, and ultimately delivered successfully to its destination.

Escorting Propane Tanks with Bay Ltd

At VersaBucket, employees understand that when escorting an oversized load, communication and teamwork are key!

During the end of February and into March, our crews safely escorted (5) loads of 22’6” tall propane tanks over a span of 6 days for Bay Ltd locally in Corpus Christi, TX.

VersaBucket provided (5) bucket trucks with crews and (1) boom truck for this project. Thanks to Bay Ltd. for relying on us to clear their way safely!

Round Two – Bucket Escorts for Barnhart Crane & Rigging

Ready for Round 2!

Last year in November, Barnhart had us send over some bucket trucks to help escort 2 control buildings. In the past couple of weeks, we helped them to complete Round 2 of this project.

For the second round of this project, Versabucket sent over 4 trucks moving from Houston to Nederland, TX on a 2-day journey. We helped guide these two 18’10” high control buildings safely under any obstacles on the way, including span wire traffic signals.

Versabucket’s crews are trained in properly lifting and handling span wire traffic signals according to TXDOT’s Beaumont District regulations. In some of these pictures, you can see our crews utilizing this training.

Rain or Shine Vessel Transport

Come rain or shine, we will guide you through!

Even on dreary days, vessels need to be moved. This one was a 22’2” tall vessel hauled by @Deep South from Cypress to Mt Belvieu. With extra precaution because of the weather and a little help from 4 VersaBucket trucks and police escorts, Deep South got this vessel safely to its destination.

Always on the Move!

VersaBucket is always on the move! This past week, we traveled to the great state of Louisiana to assist Lonestar Transportation with hauling this Upper Stack from Morgan City, LA to Gulfport, MS.

The Upper Stack stood about 17’2” tall and the journey took a total of 2 days.
